Review
Chess 3D is the classic chess game for Windows systems with great 3D graphics. The board can be rotated and zoomed plus there are different sets of pieces and boards with different scenes making it fun to play. Users can play against different computers or can play vs. other users on-line.
This version features new scenes and animated chess pieces with sound effects to spice up the game. There are different levels of difficulty and several computers to play against.
For chess enthusiasts the designers have included famous chess plays to learn from them and become the ultimate chess master. Additionally, Chess 3D is capable of importing chess games in the PGN format to obtain more and more varied game experiences.
This game is great, users can set the perfect conditions to play the way they want. Plus its unique design makes this game playable on almost any computer with Direct 3D capabilities without the need of specialized graphic cards.
On the downside, some of the animations of the game boards and the pieces seem to have bugs. |
